Joints and inlays
Many of our pieces of furniture use small inlay details and handles to contrast the wood colours. We also use the Japanese technique of inlaying a butterfly shape across a natural fissure in a board to both enhance it and also to maintain the stability of the wood.
Handles
Handles on a piece of furniture make a huge difference to the overall feel of a piece and this is why we generally make our own handles from solid wood. They help to maintain the integrity of the design and also add a touch of craft.
